Using modern, large contract vegetation management equipment, we are able to tackle most vegetation clearance or reduction projects, including difficult species such as hawthorn, blackthorn and dense bramble, or work in difficult locations such as embankments or close to water bodies.

Our Fendt 900 Series tractor and AHWI forestry mulcher can easily process this material to mulch and combining with topsoils to produce an easily manageable substrate. This machine has a reverse drive position which enables the operator to work tool end first, targeting vegetation material, accurately and safely. It can also handle more woody materials and trees and process stumps and root balls with minimum number of passes.

Any large trees can be felled traditionally by one of our experienced chainsaw operators or by using large contract excavator mounted tree shears, and the processed using our Heizomat whole tree chipper and Mercedes Unimog with chip collection box. This produces G30 or G50 biomass grade wood chip for subsequent transportation to biomass facilities.

We also operate other large contract equipment including a tractor mounted ‘cut & collect’ hammer flail, excavator mounted flail, excavator mounted stump grinders, tree shears as well as a host of smaller manually operated equipment by highly skilled & certificated operatives such as chainsaws and brush-cutters.
