Our AHWI Forestry Mulcher can tackle even the most heavily vegetated sites including difficult species such as hawthorn & blackthorn, reducing this to a fine mulch and combining with top soils. The resulting substrate can then be easily stripped or cultivated, depending on future land use. We also operate a large whole tree chipper that can easily process full tree crowns and trunks up to 400mm to G20 to G50 biomass grade wood chip, contract hammer flails, stump grinders and tree shears. All of our operators and ground staff hold CSCS certification and we have fully trained chainsaw & brush cutter operators, core first aiders and site managers.

Having many years’ experience working on site clearance projects, or projects with an element of site clearance works as part of the contract, we can offer these services to the following applications.

Vegetation clearance or removal may also form a necessary part of other works such as line clearing for fencing projects. We have well established relationships with ecology consultants and a sound understanding of working in environments where an ecologically sensitive approach is of paramount importance.
